The Problem: The airport in Dimpur, Nagaland is the only civil airport in the state of Nagaland, with the expansion of number of flights and the requirement to ensure uninterrupted operations of the approach lighting system at the approach end of the airport runway.

Fuji Electric Solution: The team of engineers from Fuji Electric did a full study of the site and the operational requirements of the airport. Understanding the critical role played by approach lighting system for the flights that are coming into land at the airport it was recommended to install Falcon 5000 UPS of 120 KVA capacity in parallel configuration.

Result: The customer is satisfied with the performance of the UPS at the airport as it has ensured uninterrupted operations of the approach lighting system.
